Can You Buy Gluten Free Pita Bread?

If you’re looking for Gluten Free Pita Bread Brands at the store, you probably won’t find many options. But GF brands are out there, and this list will help you locate them!

Although the gluten free pita bread brands listed below are all free from gluten-containing ingredients, I’ll be sure to say whether or not the brands are certified gluten free or just labeled gluten free.

Certified GF brands have to meet certain requirements to ensure no possibility of cross contamination. Non-Certified brands just have to be free from ingredients that contain gluten. People suffering from celiac disease should only eat the certified gluten free brands, but those who are gluten free for other reasons can choose whether or not to eat non-certified brands.

Ingredients can change at any time. Be sure to always check the most recent product labels, certifications and allergen warnings before purchasing!

BFree Pita Breads

BFree Foods Pita Bread

Buy Online:  BFreeFoods.com

If you’re looking for gluten-free pita bread, BFree is the easiest brand to find in stores! BFree pita bread is certified gluten free, and it is also vegan-friendly, soy-free, non-GMO, and dairy free!

You can expect to find BFree Pita Bread at stores like Kroger (and Kroger affiliates), Publix, Walmart (some), and Harris Teeter, although the selection will vary by location. I recommend using BFree’s product locator to find the closest store to you! You can select their pita bread specifically and use your zip code to find a nearby store.

Against The Grain Pita Bread

Buy Online:  Amazon (Whole Foods Delivery)

If you can’t find BFree, you might want to look to see if Against The Grain Pita Bread is sold near you! This gluten-free pita bread brand does contain dairy and it is not certified gluten free (from what I can tell). However, it is labeled gluten free and is free from gluten-containing ingredients. On their FAQ page, they state that their products are made in a “dedicated gluten-free facility” and they have their own independent, third-party testing done.

You can find Against the Grain Pita Bread in health food stores, most notably Whole Foods Market. Use their product locator to see if there is a health foods store near you that carries these products.
